When you send us a message or book a stay: your name, email address, phone number, the dates and property you asked about, and anything you choose to write in a message field.

When you book: the billing details needed to take payment. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never reach our own systems.

When you visit: standard server logs, and analytics about which pages get used. No advertising trackers.

To answer your questions, run your stay, and keep the records a lodging business is required to keep in Maine.

If you opt in, to send occasional news about new rentals and seasonal stays. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

Our booking and messaging platform, our payment processor, and our email provider, each only with what they need to do their part.

The cleaner and any tradesperson attending your stay, limited to your name and the dates.

Nobody else. We do not sell or rent your details.

Enquiries that do not become bookings: [24 months], then deleted.

Booking and payment records: [7 years], because tax and lodging rules require it.

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@birchhollowrentals.com.
